U.S. Market Entry · Service Overview

U.S. Entity
Setup

The first step into the U.S. market.

Compaytence builds the legal, banking, and payment infrastructure global eCommerce merchants need in order to launch in the United States. Entity Setup is where that starts: a compliant U.S. business entity, formed remotely, with the federal registration behind it.

What Entity Setup Is

A compliant U.S. business entity, established as the first step toward entering the U.S. market. It is the Basic plan of the Compaytence U.S. Expansion Suite, and the foundation the two tiers above it are built on.

At a Glance
  • The entity, formed remotely. State selection, business registration, and the core formation documents.
  • Federal registration, end to end. The EIN application and filing, through to the IRS Form CP 575 confirmation letter.
  • The support around it. A U.S. registered agent address, ITIN application guidance, and regulatory compliance support.

Every later step is opened in the entity’s name. A U.S. bank account is held by the company, and a merchant account underwrites the company behind it. That is why the suite runs in this order, and why the Core and Premium plans each begin with everything in the plan below.

Where this sits

Entity Setup is a complete service on its own. If banking or payment processing is the goal, it is also the prerequisite. Core and Premium each include everything in the plan below, so a merchant who already knows they need a U.S. account or a U.S. merchant account starts at that tier rather than buying the plans separately.

What Is Included

Six deliverables, and everything the suite adds later is built on top of them.

State selection and business registration

We select the formation state for your business and register the entity there. The state you form in governs the filing requirements, the fees, and the agent obligations the company carries from then on.

EIN application, filing, and IRS Form CP 575

The EIN is your company’s federal tax identification number. We prepare and file the application, and you receive the IRS Form CP 575 confirmation letter, which is the document banks and payment providers accept as proof the EIN is genuine.

ITIN application guidance

Guidance through the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number application, for owners who do not hold a U.S. Social Security number and need a taxpayer number of their own.

U.S. registered agent address

A U.S. address of record for the company. Every state requires one for service of process and official correspondence, and a foreign-owned entity has no default address to use.

Core formation documents

The founding paperwork the company runs on, prepared as part of the formation and kept together in one place, because it is the first thing asked for in any account application or underwriting review.

Regulatory compliance support

Support keeping the entity aligned with U.S. regulatory requirements, so the structure holds up when a bank, an acquirer, or a payment provider reviews it.

Core Plan: Banking Solutions

A U.S. financial account in the entity’s name, so the business can transact globally, receive payments, and hold its operating capital in the market it is selling into.

Fully remote U.S. bank account, guaranteed

Opened without traveling to the U.S., and guaranteed as part of the plan.

FDIC-insured deposits

Federal deposit insurance up to $250,000 on the U.S. account.

Dedicated account manager

One named contact who knows the file, rather than a support queue that starts over each time.

End-to-end compliance

The compliance work that the account application and the ongoing relationship both depend on.

International wires and transfers

Money moves in and out across borders, which is the point of holding a U.S. account while operating from somewhere else.

A banking partner suited to the business

The partner is matched to the business rather than assigned by default, because banks differ sharply on which models and categories they will hold.

Compatibility with global platforms

The account works with the platforms an eCommerce business already runs on.

05

Premium Plan: Payment Setup

Onboarding with a trusted payment provider from the Compaytence network, so the business can accept payments through the entity and the account the first two plans built.

Guaranteed approvals

Approval with a provider from the network is guaranteed as part of the plan.

Access to a top-tier PSP network

Onboarding through Compaytence’s provider relationships rather than a self-serve signup.

Full compliance and risk review

The business is reviewed before it is submitted, so the application answers the questions underwriting is going to ask.

Lifetime Account Guarantee

The account is backed for as long as it runs.

The currencies and payment methods you want

The settlement currencies and the local payment methods your buyers expect at checkout.

Flexible platform integration

The processing setup connects to the stack the business already runs.

Authorization Rate Analysis

Where transactions are being declined, and what is recoverable.

Chargeback and fraud management

The monitoring and tooling that keep the account inside the card networks’ dispute thresholds.

What the Suite Supports

Compaytence provides the expertise, infrastructure, and strategic support global eCommerce merchants need to succeed in the U.S. market.

Across the three plans
  • U.S. entity formation, EIN setup, and ITIN guidance.
  • Registered agent support.
  • U.S. banking access.
  • Payment processing setup.
  • Compliance and risk review.
  • Access to preferred local payment methods and currencies.
  • Long-term operational scalability.
Everything a U.S. bank or processor underwrites is the entity behind the account.
Bottom line

Compaytence understands the regulatory requirements and works with trusted banking and payment partners to deliver stable, compliant setups built for scale. Entity Setup is the first of those steps, and it is the one everything else is registered against.
